A Little About Sarina
“Anyone can Art” – Taylor Croan, ART-BC, LPC
Sarina graduated from Emporia State University in 2021 with her MS in Art Therapy. She is about to complete her ATR (Registered Art Therapist) supervision hours and is currently working toward her LPC. She obtained her BA in Philosophy & Creative Writing, with a minor in Classical & Ancient Studies in 2012 from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She earned her MA in Religious Studies from the University of Kansas in 2015.
Sarina‘s therapeutic approach is person-centered and culturally aware. She works with a variety of populations but has the most experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder, LGBTQIA+ individuals, substance use, and trauma.
Sarina aims to help her clients push past the limitations they have set for themselves, and work through experiences that cannot necessarily be explored through words. She is creative and energetic, using as many different art media as physically possible.
Sarina offers art therapy counseling sessions at The Wellness Counseling Center, LLC’s Greenwood location for both adults and children.
