A Little About Kelsey

Kelsey received a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Columbia College in 2008, and a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Avila University in 2012. Kelsey worked to serve the local community from 2009 through 2016 in Community Mental Health settings, with five of those years as a counselor/therapist. These settings have included both adult and adolescents, inpatient and outpatient.

After a hiatus to focus on building a family and raising two young children, she is back and ready to help you through the challenges you face in your life. Kelsey’s main passion is Substance Abuse Counseling. Helping those suffering from addiction, or the family members that are affected by the disease, is her niche in the therapy world. However, Kelsey is also ready to help those with familial or marriage challenges, trauma, depression, anxiety, and much more.

Throughout her life and her practice, Kelsey believes in practicing grace, compassion, understanding, and open-mindedness. With a mostly person-centered focus, balanced with directness, to make genuine progress in coping with life’s challenges.

Kelsey is currently available via telehealth services only and serves Missouri and North Carolina.
