Emily Jo Bennett, PLPC

Hello! I’m Emily Jo and I graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2023. I also have a BS in Child and Family development. My love of working with children and families led me to counseling. My current goals include becoming a Registered Play Therapist and working towards my LPC. I have one son, two cats and live in Lee’s Summit, MO.
I enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds. I work from a person-centered approach with a focus on providing a safe and accepting space for growth and support.

I offer counseling sessions at The Wellness Counseling Center, LLC’s Harrisonville location.
