Adrienne Warren, LPC

Adrienne is a therapist who will listen first. She is passionate about meeting people where they are, hearing them out, and working together to solve problems in a way that respects all parties. She works with Children, Adolescents, Adults, Families and Couples.

Adrienne is an EMDR trained professional. EMDR is a trauma-focused intervention that works to lessen the impact of negative thoughts like “I’m not good enough” or “I’m unlovable” and replaces them with positive thoughts like “I am good enough” or “I can handle this”. It targets stressful past situations and is effective at treating a variety of disorders. Adrienne has personally seen success using EMDR with clients struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, low-self worth and attachment trauma.

Adrienne has a specific passion for working with families with adopted and foster children. Adrienne uses creative family activities as well as EMDR to strengthen the attachment bond between children and their caregivers. A strong healing relationship is often the best treatment for children battling PTSD, anxiety, and behavioral problems.
