Love inspired …

Isn’t auto-correct great?  I started with live inspired, but auto-correct changed it to love … My iPhone knows me SO well 😍.  Usually auto-correct puts what I’m really thinking, but I have to change it back or else the “other person” might be offended.  But that’s not what I meant to post about …

Adjusting my FB page this morning whilst on the Chicago-bound train, I was reminded of my favorite quote:

“The truth will set you free, but first it will make you miserable” – James A. Garfield.

It’s a resounding fact.  If we live in the light of the truth, God will take what we’ve given Him and do something with it.  Pure and simple, He will.  It’s a promise:

John 8:31-32 … So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

It can hurt, it can bring challenge, it might have consequences … It will also break down barriers, move mountains, and bring about even greater JOY than you could ever imagine. Jesus said he is the truth, the way, and the light … So if we are telling the truth, then we are speaking Jesus, and if we are speaking Jesus, we have great power, and if we have great power … Then we WILL find our way to great blessing … Great blessing = abounding JOY!!!!

So as a counselor, one of my greatest missions is to get to the truth.  That’s where the real work begins.  And once we are there … No telling what great things could happen on the other side 🙃.
